Cosmetic Eyelid Surgery

Cosmetic eyelid surgery is one of Dr. Zoumalan’s specialties in his practice. A standard consultation for cosmetic eyelid surgery involves a complete examination of your eyebrows, eyelids, cheek area and the midface. Dr. Zoumalan’s specialized cosmetic eyelid surgery evaluation allows him to identify what you may require to achieve the most natural results while helping to rejuvenate you. A typical cosmetic eyelid surgery involves removing excess skin and removing heavy bags or dark circles. This is performed by a blepharoplasty which is another term for cosmetic eyelid surgery. Upper lid blepharoplasty involves removing the excess skin and fat pockets from the upper lids. Dr. Zoumalan makes every attempt to restoring your lids closer to what you may have looked like when you were younger. Lower eyelid blepharoplasty involves removing the excess skin and fat pockets from the lower lids. Often times, the brows may also need to be adjusted at the same time. When done right, brow lifting can really optimize your natural look. With his best efforts, Dr. Zoumalan will restore your brows to a desired position that fits well with the rest of your eyelid and facial structures.
