Before and After Photos

  • Before Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 32
    After Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 32

This patient had some asymmetry in his upper lids, where his left eyelid was more droopy (ptotic) than his right upper eyelid. He also has under eye bags and excess skin. An upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty with a left upper eyelid ptosis repair, was performed. This is an example of a very customized eyelid surgery to improve the symmetry between the two eyelids.  Notice the refreshed appearance, the after photo was taken four months out from surgery.

Preoperative Diagnosis Above:Upper lid ptosis and upper and lower lid dermatochalasia.

Procedure performed:Upper lid ptosis repair, upper lid blepharoplasty and lower lid blepharoplasty.

  • Before Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 31
    After Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 31

Preoperative Diagnosis:Upper lid and brow ptosis resulting in difficulty seeing well and a tired appearance.

Procedure performed:Bilateral upper lid blepharoplasty, upper lid ptosis repair, and lateral brow suspension.

  • Before Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 29
    After Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 29

This patient underwent a significant improvement in his eyelid appearance after undergoing a quad blepharoplasty and ptosis repair.  He had his excess skin and fat removed in both his upper and lower eyelids, and he also underwent a mild brow lift/suspension at the same time. Lower lid fat repositioning to preserve his lower eyelid volume along with a chemical peel was also performed.

Preoperative Diagnosis: Bilateral upper lid ptosis and brow ptosis, lower lid excess fat pockets.

Procedure performed: Bilateral upper lid ptosis repair (blepharoplasty) and lateral brow suspension

    Patient Seeing Up

This patient wished to have a more “softer” look to his eyelids. He wished to improve his upper eyelid appearance and look less tired.  He was also wishing to have his lower lid “bags” or fat pockets improved.  A quad blepharoplasty along with upper eyelid ptosis repair was performed.  Note the refreshed appearance he has attained after eyelid surgery.

Procedure performed: Upper and lower lid blepharoplasty

  • Before Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 26
    After Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 26

This patient only desired to undergo upper eyelid surgery. Despite having lower eyelid aging changes, he only wished to undergo an upper eyelid blepharoplasty to improve his ability to see well in his peripheral vision. Excess skin was weighing down on his upper eyelids. This procedure took less than one hour to perform using only local anesthesia in our office.

Preoperative Diagnosis: Excess skin in upper eyelids.

    Procedure performed: Upper lid blepharoplasty
