Before and After Photos

  • Before Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 45
    After Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 45

This patient had very significant brow ptosis and excess skin in his upper eyelids.  A customized, lateral brow lift and an upper eyelid blepharoplasty was performed to help improve his appearance. The procedure was performed in our office in just under an hour using just local anesthesia.

Preoperative Diagnosis: Upper lid excess skin and brow ptosis, right worse than left.

Procedure performed: Lateral brow lift and upper lid blepharoplasty.

  • Before Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 44
    After Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 44

This young male had very heavy brows and upper eyelids.  A combined brow lift and removal of excess upper eyelid skin was required to help improve his appearance. Eyelid surgery alone would not help given his brow ptosis (low set brows). The procedure was performed in the office in just under an hour, and the patient healed well to return to work in a week.

Preoperative Diagnosis: Upper eyelid aging, brow ptosis.

Procedure performed: Upper eyelid blepharoplasty, lateral brow lift.

  • Before Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 43
    After Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 43

Quad blepharoplasty (upper and lower eyelid surgery) was performed on this patient to help improve his eyelid appearance.  Upper eyelid surgery, lower eyelid surgery and brow suspension was performed to give this patient a more refreshed and rejuvenated look. Lower eyelid fat was repositioned as well to help improve the under eye hollowing.

Preoperative diagnosis: Bilateral upper lid ptosis and brow ptosis, lower lid excess fat pockets.

Procedure performed: Bilateral upper lid ptosis repair, upper and lower lid blepharoplasty with fat repositioning to lower lids, and left brow ptosis repair.

  • Before Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 42
    After Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 42

This patient has significant upper eyelid and brow excess tissue, and prominent lower lid fat pockets. A quad blepharoplasty and a brow suspension/brow lift surgery was performed. Note the natural looking results.

Preoperative diagnosis: Bilateral upper lid ptosis and brow ptosis, lower lid excess fat pockets.

Procedure performed: Bilateral upper lid ptosis repair (blepharoplasty) and lateral brow lift, lower lid blepharoplasty.

  • Before Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 41
    After Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 41

Excess skin and low set brows were weighing down on this patient’s eyelids and resulting in difficulty seeing in the periphery. A natural looking upper eyelid blepharoplasty with a brow lift/suspension was performed to allow him to have a result that was effective but also preserving his own natural look.

Preoperative Diagnosis: Excess upper lid skin.

Procedure performed: Bilateral upper lid blepharoplasty and lateral brow suspension.

  • Before Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 40
    After Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 40
  • Before Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 37
    After Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 37

This patient had significant asymmetry in his upper eyelids: his right upper eyelid was droopy (ptosis) and he had excess skin in his upper eyelids.  In order to address his asymmetry, a right upper eyelid ptosis repair and an upper eyelid blepharoplasty was performed bilaterally.  Note the natural looking results.

Preoperative Diagnosis: Right upper lid ptosis and bilateral upper lid excess skin (dermatochalasia).

Procedure performed: Right upper lid ptosis repair and bilateral upper lid blepharoplasty.

  • Before Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 36
    After Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 36

There was a significant amount of asymmetry in both upper eyelids, more excess skin was noted in the right than the left upper eyelid. A blepharoplasty was tailored to remove skin in the upper lids to improve the appearance and also improve the symmetry between the two eyelids.

Preoperative Diagnosis: Asymmetric upper lid dermatochalasia (extra skin) resulting in difficulty seeing well and asymmetry.

    Procedure performed: Upper lid blepharoplasty.

  • Before Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 34
    After Photo-Male Blepharoplasty Patient 34

He had very significant upper eyelid and eyebrow ptosis, resulting in a reduction in his peripheral vision. An upper eyelid blepharoplasty and brow lift was performed to improve his appearance and ability to see well.  The reddish pigmentation on his left upper eyelid is a birthmark.

Preoperative Diagnosis: Upper lid and brow ptosis resulting in difficulty seeing well and a tired appearance.

Procedure performed: Bilateral upper lid blepharoplasty, upper lid ptosis repair, and lateral brow suspension.
