I’m traveling from out of town–when can I fly back home after surgery?
If you’re coming from out of town for your procedure, you can typically fly home after your first post-operative appointment, which is scheduled 6-7 days after surgery. By that time, any initial swelling or discomfort has improved enough to travel safely. For very short flights, Dr. Zoumalan may clear you to fly earlier, but please note that you will have to return to Beverly Hills for your post-op appointment.
