Does Dr. Zoumalan also perform non-surgical cosmetic procedures?

A large part of Dr. Zoumalan’s practice is addressing cosmetic concerns in a non-surgical fashion. One of the most common non-surgical procedures Dr. Zoumalan performs is non-surgical lower lid fillers to help rejuvenate the lower lids in those that have early signs of lower lid aging. Dr. Zoumalan uses a special technique that helps minimize repeated needle injections and rather relies on blunt-tipped cannulas to safely and comfortably inject the filler around the lower lids. His technique can contribute to a rapid recovery and reduced rate of bruising so that patients can resume their regular activities again quite quickly.

Dr. Zoumalan also performs Botox injections and fillers to remaining parts of the face when indicated. During his fellowship, Dr. Zoumalan served as a clinical instructor to over 50 residents from various specialties including plastic surgery, ophthalmology, and otolaryngology-head and neck surgery within New York City. He performed thousands of surgeries during his training, and as a clinical instructor, was responsible for a some of the residents’ clinical and surgical experience. Dr. Zoumalan also became an expert in the use of Botox and hyaluronic acid fillers. Given his talented work, Dr. Zoumalan received an educational grant to train other physicians how to safely and properly administer Botox and hyaluronic acid fillers in Facial Aesthetics.
