Upper Lid Blepharoplasty

This patient underwent an upper eyelid blepharoplasty surgery in our office. Prior to her procedure, she was experiencing trouble with her peripheral vision and her lids would become heavier as the day wore on. The upper lid blepharoplasty procedure made all the difference in her vision and making her appear more youthful.

This patient had an upper eyelid blepharoplasty to correct minor asymmetries and hooding of the upper eyelids. The procedure opened his eyes and maintained his masculine appearance which is what he was concerned about. An upper eyelid blepharoplasty is a procedure performed in the office under local anesthesia and takes approximately 2 hours to complete. Recovery is one week and then patients can resume most normal activities.

This patient had prior ptosis surgery and was left with some minor asymmetries between the upper eyelids. There was some excess skin in the upper eyelids, more so in the right medial portion of her eyelid. She also had prominent fat pockets in her lower eyelids, which were resulting in her looking constantly tired. An upper blepharoplasty was performed, and her cholesterol deposits were also removed.

She wished for an improvement around her eyes, so that she could look more rested and feel as young as she is. Since she had low set brow and excess upper lid skin, she underwent both an endocscopic brow lift and an upper eyelid blepharoplasty. She is ecstatic about her results!

This patient wished to have a very subtle improvement in her upper eyelids. She was noticing a double crease, and wished to have a minor improvement. A minimally invasive approach was performed to give her an elegant result.

This gentleman had very heavy lids and brows and they were affecting his vision and ability to see well. Both had to be addressed in order to achieve a good result. The brow lift incisions were actually made above his eyebrows; note that you the incisions have healed incredibly well and they often look just like forehead wrinkles once they are healed. The excess skin was removed through a typical upper lid blepharoplasty approach. He has achieved a natural looking result that made him appear happier and well rested.
