Eyelid malposition
An eyelid disorder where the eyelid is abnormally positioned. In a normal eyelid, the eyelid rests on they eyeball, but in malpositions, the eyelid can be rotated inward (termed an entropion) or outward (turned ectropion). Various conditions (congenital or acquired) can result in such eyelid malpositions, and the treatment usually involves surgery.
